Finished and ready to ride.

This 125’ x 200’ arena was built from the ground up with a major focus on long-term performance, drainage, stability, and consistency throughout the entire riding surface. Every inch of this arena was precision laser leveled to ensure proper water runoff while still maintaining the consistent footing riders and horses need.

A quality arena starts long before the final footing is installed. The foundation and pad preparation are everything. On this project, the base was properly graded, compacted, and built in layers to create a stable platform that will hold up under heavy use and changing weather conditions.

The finished footing was designed to provide:
• Consistent depth across the entire arena
• Proper cushion and support for horses
• Reduced compaction and uneven wear
• Better moisture retention and dust control
• Reliable drainage to minimize standing water and muddy areas

Too many arenas look good for a few weeks, then quickly develop low spots, washouts, soft corners, and inconsistent footing because the groundwork underneath was rushed or skipped. Taking the extra time to properly build and laser level the pad makes all the difference in how an arena performs years down the road.

Proud of how this one turned out. Clean grade work, proper drainage, solid foundation, and a finished riding surface built to last.

125’ x 220’ arena coming to life.

This is the stage most people never see — and it’s the part that determines whether your arena lasts… or fails.

Right now it’s all about precision.

Getting the grade right.
Dialing in slope for proper drainage.
Building a base that will hold up under real use — not just look good for a week.

Because once the footing goes down, everything underneath is locked in. There’s no shortcuts at this stage.

Water control is being built in now — not fixed later.
Compaction is happening in layers — not rushed in one pass.
Every inch is being set up so this arena rides the same on day 1 as it will months from now.

Most arena issues don’t come from the top layer…
They come from what was (or wasn’t) done right here.

We don’t skip steps. We don’t guess.

We build it to last.

If you’re planning an arena — whether it’s a full-size like this or a smaller setup — and you want it done right the first time…

📩 Message Land Renewal Pros and let’s get it built the way it should be.

Most people think a gravel or crushed asphalt driveway is just “dump and spread.”

That’s exactly why so many of them fail.

A driveway isn’t about what you see on top — it’s about what’s underneath.

Base prep is everything. If the ground isn’t properly graded and compacted first, it doesn’t matter how much material you dump on top… it’s going to shift, rut, and break down.

Slope matters. If water can’t shed off the surface, it will sit, soak in, and destroy the integrity of the drive. That’s where you start seeing washouts, potholes, and constant maintenance.

Drainage matters. Every driveway needs a plan for where water is going — not just hoping it disappears. Without it, you’re fighting mud and erosion every time it rains.

Material matters. Not all gravel or crushed asphalt is the same. The right blend compacts, locks in, and holds its shape. The wrong material just moves around and turns into a mess.

And thickness matters. Too thin and it won’t hold up to traffic. Too thick without proper compaction and it won’t bind together the way it should.

A properly built driveway should:
• Drain water efficiently
• Stay tight and compact
• Handle traffic without rutting
• Require minimal maintenance over time

This isn’t a quick dump-and-go job. It’s a process.

At Land Renewal Pros, we build driveways that actually last — not ones you’re constantly fixing.

If your current driveway is washing out, rutting, or turning into mud… or you’re looking to put one in the right way the first time…

Most people think building an equine arena is just “leveling dirt.”

That’s where they get it wrong.

A properly built arena is a system — and if one part is off, the entire thing fails.

Footing matters. Not just what you use, but how deep it is, how it’s layered, and how it interacts with your base. Too soft? You’ll strain joints and lose performance. Too hard? You’re asking for injury.

Grading matters. If your arena doesn’t have the correct slope, you’re going to fight water every time it rains. Standing water, uneven footing, constant maintenance — all because of bad prep work.

Drainage matters. Water has to go somewhere. If it doesn’t leave your arena efficiently, it destroys your investment from the ground up.

Material quality matters. Cheap base material breaks down. Poor top layers separate. And before long, you’re paying to fix what should’ve been done right the first time.

Even “mini arenas” require precision. There’s no cutting corners just because it’s smaller — in fact, tighter spaces demand even more accuracy in grading and compaction.

This isn’t guesswork. It’s experience, planning, and ex*****on.

At Land Renewal Pros, we build arenas that hold up — through weather, use, and time.

If you’re thinking about putting one in, or fixing one that’s already giving you problems, let’s do it right the first time.
