General Aviation Industries is seeking a Receptionist for our location in Weatherford, TX!
We are looking for a candidate who has experience running a front office, who enjoys interacting with and helping people, and who is friendly and professional. Additionally, this role is one that has real growth potential! Additional responsibilities are:
Responsibilities:
- Answer a multi-line switchboard, and direct and announce calls to the appropriate person.
- Screen sales calls and other unsolicited callers.
- Greet guests, ensure that they sign in per AS9100 requirements, and notify the employee they have arrived to see.
- Responsible for keeping the company calendar up-to-date.
- Responsible for coordinating and setting up on-site lunches during meetings and visits from customers or other guests.
- Assist in planning and executing company events and employee team building activities.
- Inventory, order, and stock office supplies and toner, first aid supplies for the front office and kitchen supplies.
- Compose company correspondence and notices, and keep organized records.
- Receive packages and sort and distribute mail.
- Provide administrative assistance to the President, COO, and others in management, as needed.
- Assist the Accounting/HR Manager, once trained.
Required skills:
- Experience running a front office, as a receptionist, or in another office role, is required.
- Proficient in MS Office β including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Professional, reliable, and friendly; someone who gets along well with others, and truly enjoys interacting with and helping others.
- Very good oral and written communication skills and excellent phone etiquette.
- Organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
