Old and new. the picture includes the old water tank on the right and the new water tank on the left. With the improvements we have doubled the water capacity for our system-especially important in a drought year when fire fighting and control becomes critical.

The annual meeting of The rush Creek Mutual Water Company was held on 5/17/14 at the water plant. The election was held and the new and returning officers are:

new co-presidents Robert Kevin and Linda Hurst
Vice presidents Dave Hazard
Treasurer Art Tenneson
Secretary Sue Watanabe

The vote was unanimous and the meeting was well attended. The Water Master, Bob Taylor, the treasurer, and the outgoing president spoke. Joe Reiss, the project engineer from Waterworks Engineers in Redding spoke at length and conducted a tour of the new water plant.

The Trinity Alps on 3-4-14. Some snow, but we will still need to be vigilant about water conservation this summer.
