Blue Diamond Materials Inc We sell Cement Treated Base (CTB) which is an aggregate material used as a pavement base for highways, roads, streets, parking areas, airports, etc.

We manufacture and sell Cement treated Base (CTB) which is designed from local DOT rock sources. To achieve our needed gradation we extract our aggregate from a local 3” base rock. We combine this with measured amounts of Portland cement and water that hardens after compaction and curing to form a durable paving material. CTB is widely used as a pavement base for highways, roads, streets, parking

areas, airports, etc. Other descriptions of CTB are Soil Cement, Cement Treated Aggregate Base or Durarock. Soil Cement and Cement Treated Base has advantages over other base materials, it continues to gain strength with age, typically less cost than concrete pavement, can withstand heavy truck and equipment traffic. Its slab-like characteristics and beam strength are unmatched by granular bases that can fail when aggregate interlock is lost. This happens when wet subgrade soil is forced up into the base by traffic loads. Hard, rigid Cement Treated base is practically impervious. It resists rain and spring-weather damage. The Limestone has been graded down to meet the usages for State, County and City specifications. This material is then engineered and designed to meet the PSI specifications for CTB soil Cement and Durarock. Typical Cement content ranges from 3% to 6%, resulting in 7 day unconfined compressive strengths from 300 to 800 psi. These materials are mixed in our twin shaft pug mill plant in Webster, FL .
