Triton Construction is proud to announce that Justin Kerschner has joined us.

Justin will be heading up our vegetation management services group. We will be providing land clearing and tree removal. We are working with homeowners, Firewise Communities and road associations. Our new service is in addition to our paving, grading and underground work.

What makes a good asphalt driveway? Preparation!

Preparation is the key when installing asphalt. The quality and life of a driveway largely depends on how well the underlying base is prepared. Listed below are the steps we take when we are starting a new pave project.

Step 1: Make sure drainage is correct
Step 2: Grade and slope sub base towards drainage while adding moisture
Step 3: Apply and compact the base material

Cracks in your asphalt are a direct pathway for water to enter the road base underlying your road or driveway. The water will soften the support structure supporting the pavement and eventually casue a failure that will become a pothole or continue to spread under your ashpalt. Proper sealing can prolong the life of your road/driveway. There are several alternatives to consider including crack filling, digging out the failed area and rebuilding the base prior with a patch, sealing or a chip sealing of the roadway.

Winter is over and we are in full swing. If you have a project, big or small, give us a shout. We have been successful grouping projects for customers within a neighborhood and saving everyone some money when we can work on numerous projects in relatively close proximity. So talk to your neighbors and give us a ring!

Look for our newest dump truck in the Pioneer Day Parade, and don't forget to sign up for the Pioneer 5k Fun Run that morning!!!

Hello Friends of Triton-

We are looking for good homes for some nice 55 gallons plastic drums. They are located over at our equipment yard off of Paoli near the Weimar Country Store and Campora - first come first serve until supplies run out! The drums had water treatment chemical in them. They have been rinsed once.

Friends of Triton - We have about two dozen of these 55 gallon plastic blue drums. They work great for planters if you cut them in half, water troughs, storage containers, etc. Let us know if you're interested, first come first serve!!! Free to good homes.
