☀️🔥 SUMMER PROPANE SAFETY TIPS 🔥☀️

🔹 Don’t overfill tanks
Propane tanks should never be filled past 80% capacity to allow room for expansion.

🔹 Keep tanks out of direct sun for long periods
Heat can increase internal pressure, store in shade when possible.

🔹 Listen for unusual sounds
Hissing near a tank or connection can signal a leak, shut it off immediately.

🔹 Know the smell of propane
Propane has a strong “rotten egg” odor added for safety, take it seriously.

🔹 Use the correct regulator and fittings
Mixing or forcing connections can lead to unsafe leaks.

🔹 Keep children and pets away from equipment
Grills and tanks should always have a clear, safe zone around them.

🔹 Light grills with the lid open
Prevents gas buildup before ignition.

🔹 Turn off tank valve first, then appliance
Helps clear gas lines safely after use.

🔹 Don’t use damaged cylinders
Dents, rust, or corrosion = time for a professional inspection or replacement.

🔹 Schedule regular inspections
A quick check by a propane professional helps catch issues early.
