Friendly reminder! It's a new month, which means it's time to check your air filter. 👀
Do you have a clean filter installed, or is it looking a little overdue?
A clean filter helps your system run more efficiently, improves airflow, and can help prevent unnecessary breakdowns. Take a minute today to check it. You might be surprised by what you find!

Another company had been out to this job 4-5 times and kept telling the customer the system settings were wrong. When we arrived, we found the unit was nearly out of refrigerant.
We got the system up and running, then returned to complete the repairs properly. All leaks were located and repaired, the system was pressure tested, vacuumed down, and the line set was measured and entered into the Mitsubishi design builder program to ensure the system received the correct refrigerant charge.
After charging the system correctly, everything is now running smoothly and operating the way it should.
Doing things the right way sometimes takes more time, but in the long run it’s worth it. Proper diagnostics and repairs help prevent repeat breakdowns, improve efficiency, and give the customer a system they can actually rely on.
It’s always a good feeling being able to repair what others couldn’t and even better knowing the customer finally has peace of mind with a system that’s working the way it should.

Tech Tip of the Day:
Multi-head mini split systems must have all indoor heads set to the same mode in order to operate properly. If one head is calling for cooling while another is calling for heating, the system may not run and many units will display “--” on the display.
If this happens:
Turn all indoor heads off.
Turn each head back on one at a time.
Make sure every head is set to the same mode (all cooling, all heating, etc.).
If the system still does not operate properly:
Turn the power to the system off.
Wait 5 minutes.
Restore power and restart the system.
Sometimes it’s a simple communication or mode conflict issue—not a breakdown.

Here is another leak we found.
Great tools and experience sure help when it comes to finding refrigerant leaks. If you’ve been having companies repeatedly charge your equipment, remember this:
Refrigerant is not “used up” like fuel it leaks out.
So if your system is low on charge, there is a leak somewhere that needs to be found and repaired. Simply adding refrigerant without fixing the leak is only a temporary solution.
If your AC or heat pump isn’t cooling like it should, give us a call at (509)668-8108 and let us properly diagnose the issue.
