Q&A: “How long is my bathroom remodel actually going to take?”
People are always surprised when I tell them: a standard bathroom remodel runs about 4-6 weeks, sometimes shorter. There’s this idea out there that bathrooms take months and months — but that’s not the norm, at least not with how we run our jobs.
Even the biggest, most involved bathroom I’ve ever done came in under 3 months, and that was a job with a lot more going on than your typical remodel.
The timeline shifts if we open the walls and find something like moisture damage or subfloor issues — but that’s the exception, not the rule. Most jobs stay on track because we plan for the details up front instead of guessing as we go.
