🪟Window Refresh– Daley’s Done Rite🪟

Just finished replacing both this garage window and the living room bay window in Grafton !

The old units were worn and ready for an upgrade We removed them and installed brand-new, energy-efficient windows. The living room bay window brings in more light and gives the front of the house a fresh, updated look, while the new garage window cleans up that side of the home. Energy efficiency just in time for winter!

We’re wrapping up the final interior details (drywall repair and trim on the bay window) this week, and then everything will be complete.

Another project done the Rite way — solid installation, clean finishes, and a noticeable improvement inside and out.💪

🚨Progress Update: 1865 Farmhouse Porch Restoration🚨

Daley's Done Rite Construction has been hard at work bringing this historic second-level porch back to solid ground — literally!

After carefully stripping out the rotten and aged wood, we’ve been focused on the structural rebuild of this porch. We set all the out heights and properly anchored the hangers directly to the home (something that wasn’t done, or even required, when this porch was originally built in the 1870s). We then installed box framing structural headers, positioned the custom structural columns, and lowered the entire structure back down so the second-level porch is now resting safely on its columns for the first time in decades. 💪

It’s a calculated, deliberate process to ensure the porch is not only rebuilt to look true to the original design, but also built stronger and safer than it was before.

Next up is finishing the side-to-side structural headers, installing the outer columns, and continuing the main structural framing. Stay tuned on this unique project! More updates coming as the renovation moves forward.📢

✅ Hidden Playroom? ABSOLUTELY!

When Al Stippich came to us with the unique idea to turn unused space under their stairwell into a hidden playroom, Daley's Done Rite said, "Hold our b**r!" 🍻 (You know the saying, we don't actually condone drinking while working!)

An unused space under this clients' basement stairs is now a hidden two-level playroom. We framed a loft above, finished the space below, added carpet, lighting, a small window, climbing holds, and a slat-wall front so it looks like a built-in feature — until the door opens.

Same footprint. Completely new use. Custom work that turns leftover space into an area the kids can use and let their imaginations run wild!

At Daley’s Done Rite, we handle the unusual jobs as well as the standard ones — framing, finish work, hidden doors, play spaces, offices, decks, and remodels. Residential or commercial, we build it "rite!"

Have an unfinished space or unused room? Let’s make it useful.

Deck Refresh Just in Time 🛠️🍂☀️

Fall is right around the corner, but there’s still time to get outside and enjoy those last warm days and temperate evenings. This long side deck was tired and worn — we stripped every board, every stair tread, and the old railing tops, then put down fresh lumber so the space is ready to use and enjoy again.

New decking and steps plus new cap rails on the existing red railing. Same layout, safer surface, and a clean look that makes those remaining summer nights (and crisp fall mornings) a lot more inviting.

At Daley's Done Rite, we handle full new decks and targeted refreshes like this. Quality boards, solid work underneath, and results that hold up through Wisconsin seasons.

Still want to enjoy the backyard before the leaves drop? Let’s get your deck, porch, or stairs ready.
