Before and After of a recent bathroom and bedroom renovation. Client had some water damage due to a leaking pipe in a bedroom, so we took this opportunity to add a recessed box for a TV and to repaint. The bathroom, which has the washer and dryer, needed some updating also. The washer and dryer were too big to have doors in front of them. I extended the wall the width of a 2x4 to allow new bypass doors to be installed. Also, I tried my hand in hanging wallpaper for the first time and was really happy with the outcome.

Quick woodworking job I recently completed. The client asked for a custom door transition with a 1 1/2” height different and some A1 birch plywood for the window landings. I used a thin iron on edge band so I could make a smooth curve at the outside corners. Homeowner is going to stain, finish, and wrap the windows himself.

Before and after of my recent built-in project! This living room was a little awkward because there was not a great place for a TV. This built-in really made this corner TV placement more intentional. I love how it turned out!

Installed some blocking this week at my deck project, which is progressing very nicely. Working on a deck in the winter in New England definitely has its challenges, but I also love layering up and getting to work outside in the cold and snow.

Still have lots of work to do. The 2x4s run diagonally are temporary braces. Will probably have to run full length 2x6 or 2x8 diagonally bracing along the complete span of the deck.
