Nordex continues to build a world powered entirely by renewable energy — and we’re growing our HSE team to support safe, efficient wind farm operations across North America.

We currently have two full‑time openings for experienced Service HSE Site Officers:
🔹 Service Operations (Wind Farm O&M)
🔹 Special Projects (Major Correctives & Technical Projects)

Both roles are 100% travel, supporting our technicians, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams during on-site O&M or Major Corrective activities.

⭐ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐨
As a Service HSE Site Officer, you’ll play a critical role ensuring safe work practices at our active wind farm projects:
🔹Represent HSE on-site during daily O&M or Special Project activities
🔹Maintain alignment with Nordex Global HSE requirements and Management Systems
🔹Support cross-functional teams and facilitate HSE-related planning and compliance
🔹Analyze HSE incidents and work with leadership on corrective and preventive actions
🔹Conduct audits, inspections, documentation, and reporting
🔹Provide guidance using Root Cause Analysis (RCA/8D) methods
🔹Liaise with Service, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Regional HSE teams
🔹Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and customer-specific regulations

✔️ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠
🔸BA/BS in HSE, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
🔸4+ years of progressive HSE experience (wind industry experience preferred)
🔸Strong background in electrical safety and O&M operations
🔸Experience leading audits, inspections, and cross-functional teams
🔸Exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
🔸Ability to prioritize and manage multiple fast-paced initiatives
🔸Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 (or OHSAS 18001)
CSP, CIH, CHMM, OSHA 500/501 certification preferred
🔸Must meet OSHA/ANSI climbing requirements (≤ 265 lbs.)
🔸Valid driver’s license and eligibility for a U.S. passport
🔸Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe tools
🔸Must be willing and able to travel 100%
