On Memorial Day, we remember those who gave everything in service to our country — lives cut short in defense of our freedoms. 🇺🇸

But not all wounds are visible, and not all losses occur on the battlefield.

At The Long Walk Home, we honor the fallen by standing beside the living — especially the veterans who continue to carry invisible burdens long after their service ends. Every day, we work to prevent veteran su***de and ensure that no one feels alone in their struggle.

This year, two members of our team, Ron Zaleski and Omar Rose, took that mission to heart in a remarkable way. From September 2024 to May 2025, they walked across the country — thousands of miles on foot — to bring awareness to the veteran su***de crisis. Along the way, they met with veterans and military families from all walks of life, listening to their stories, sharing hope, and building a sense of community that too many feel they've lost.

Their journey is a powerful reminder that remembrance isn’t passive. It's a call to act. To walk beside those who are struggling. To show up, listen, and care.

This Memorial Day, as we reflect on those who never made it home, let us honor their memory by supporting those who did. 🫡

Would like to congratulate Gregory Electric for 75 years of service. We also appreciate inviting Eli Controls to the Oyster Roast in Columbia. I especially liked the catfish stew, ALOT!
