I am pleased to announce my appointment to Pennsylvania’s Climate Change Advisory Committee. It’s a big challenge; only three states have higher emissions than Pennsylvania. I’m going to be doing a lot more listening than talking for a while.

Today is Energy Efficiency Day. On this day, we reflect on the exciting state of energy efficiency. KEEA’s recent conference “Time to Scale Up!” was a resounding success. Our Kevin Warren moderated a panel which discussed the increasingly crucial role played by Distributed Energy Resources in creating a dynamic grid that will reduce the cost of the transition to a renewable grid. We are grateful that we continue to work at the leading edge of this ever-changing industry through our continued measurement & verification work on emerging technologies like NPBI, UVC, particle precipitator systems, hydronic system additives, etc. Our work on envelop modifications and complex building electrification projects in large buildings has also been very rewarding.

On this Energy Efficiency Day, we are humbled by the opportunities that have been presented and encourage everyone to participate in any manner available to them to further impact our fight against climate change.
