Tanner did a short segment on Fox61 for tips on frozen pipes.
Some things to keep in mind!
-Disconnect garden hoses
-Shut off outdoor faucets
-Open cabinets/vanity doors on exterior walls with pipes prone to freezing
-Setup a fan for those unconditioned crawl spaces to move warm in throughout.
-Keep heat at a minimum 62ºf during low outside temps (30ºf below)
-Slightly open your faucets to a steady drip. It reduces the risk of freezing if water is in motion
-USE YOUR HEAT, Don't be afraid to turn it up!

**TIPS FOR KEEPING YOUR LINES FROM FREEZING**

Keep garage doors closed, especially if there are water supply lines in the garage. (Rooms above garage)

Open kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to allow warmer air to circulate around the plumbing, especially if your sinks are on an exterior wall. (If you have small children, be sure to remove any harmful cleaners and household chemicals.)

Let the cold water drip from a faucet served by exposed pipes. Running water through the pipe—even at a trickle—helps prevent pipes from freezing.

Keep the thermostat set to the same temperature during day and night. Again, during a cold snap is not the time to set back the thermostat at night to save a few bucks on your heating bill.
