We knew that New England was going to be in for it this winter.

We didn't necessarily know it was going to be this bad though.

Make this the last winter you have to worry about heating your home!

The rebates for energy efficient appliances are crazy these days...

And the solar incentive makes it REALLY hard not to think about switching away from oil and gas.

Reach out, we are happy to help you find out what makes the most sense for you and your home.

This winter the U.S. Northeast faces its highest energy costs in more than 25 years due to tight heating oil supplies and fierce global competition for liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes. The winter could bring more pain, with heating costs nationwide set to soar as much as 28% from last year, acco...

To be fair, this client did CHOOSE to put down a down payment.

Their savings were going to be able half of what these numbers show.

Locking in a low power rate was crucial to them with another inflation boom on the horizon.

Thing's aren't looking too good for New England residents that aren't already using solar!

Let's see if it makes sense for you to make the switch...

For those who qualify, it is generally a no-brainer.

Back in August we found out that in CT, there was more than $171,000,000 in past due energy bills.

The balance is growing exponentially with no sign of slowing down.

We have huge rate hikes coming this winter for natural gas, and electricity.

The current proposed answer, is the pass those costs off to the other rate payers...as a line item in the delivery section.

These types of proposals usually pass, and may be factored in to the next rate increase.

The fact is, solar is the only way you can protect yourself from these types of rate increases.

Before you know it, $500/mo will be an average power bill.

Reach out today so we can see if you and your home qualify for solar.

The state’s largest electric and gas utilities say they need to start shutting off service to their most vulnerable customers for the first time in three years to avoid passing on their millions of dollars in unpaid bills to other ratepayers.  But advocates say the system just sets the poorest cu...

Natural gas up going up 30% or more.

Electricity going up over 60%?!

Solar used to be an option.

Then it became a no brainer.

It's about to become a requirement.

If you and your home qualify for solar, the savings can be quite dramatic.

Many of our customers are saving over 40% these days because the rates have gotten so high.

Don't wait, let's get you protected from the rate increases today.

Citing the high price of natural gas used in generating electricity, one Massachusetts utility provider is warning customers about a steep increase in their monthly bills.

$0 out of pocket, to save almost $70k before the warranty even expires.

This was a homeowner who looked into solar in the past, but never got all their questions answered.

This year they finally said enough is enough, and reached out to us for a quote.

You give us a power bill, we give you a savings report.

If it's a good fit, we walk you through the whole process...and stick around long after install if any questions come up.

Let's show you why all your neighbors are going solar...

We do our best to educate homeowners on the benefits of going solar.

That said, our main job is actually to identify reasons why solar isn't a good option.

If you and your home are a good fit for solar, there are very few reasons not to move forward.

Solar has had $0 out of pocket options for many years.

In fact, those finance products were responsible for the solar explosion that started in the last 2000's.

Don't wait any longer, reach out today so we can find out if you and your home are a good fit for solar.

We'd be happy to help!

"Like the rest of New England, New Hampshire has some of the highest electricity rates in the country. The average resident spent $4,078 on energy in 2019, almost 10% higher than the national average, the report said"

Electrical rates in CT, MA and RI are in the top 5 for the highest in the country.

We luckily have also had an incredible solar incentive in all three states for many years.

Unfortunately for those not using solar, the rates are expected to continue to climb exponentially as we make the shift towards an all electric society.

Go solar today so you don't have to worry about the rates tomorrow.

Clean energy experts say it’s actually the New Hampshire's overreliance on fossil fuels that is harming ratepayers.

"New homes would not be allowed to install oil or propane tanks or use natural gas for heating or cooking."

This transition is happening VERY quickly.

From coast to coast these types of restrictions are being put in place.

Some of the savings in place to help homeowners make the switch are rather significant!

Have you looked at switching to solar or electric appliances over oil / gas?

As Massachusetts towns electrify, advocates want to ensure poor communities don't have to shoulder the cost of maintaining the natural gas system.

Not everyone likes saving money, but most people do.

We had been chatting with this customer for about 6 months.

He really had no idea what he was paying for power.

He wasn't sure what the rates were, or even how to figure them out.

He thought their average bill was under $200/mo....but it was actually $236/mo.

Here is a breakdown of what he is looking at.

$0 upfront, as always.
Saving $60/month, or 25% on their power bill
$60,000 in savings...WORST case scenario over the first 25 years

The thing is, we can only estimate power rates go up 4% each year...but in this part of the country, our rates go up much faster than that.

Do you see all the shade on this home?

Solar STILL makes sense.

Massachusetts currently has greater than 100,000 individual solar power facilities installed.

More than 100,000!!!

Can you believe that?

MA has had one of the best solar incentives in the country for years and years.

Residents there actually get paid for all the solar they produce for 10 years...no brainer, huh?

"The request for proposal (RFP), released last Tuesday, gives potential respondents until March 16 to formulate and submit questions. Following the DOER’s response to those questions, a quote for services will be due on April 13, 2022 by 4 p.m. EST. Winners will be notified the following month, with the contract to be signed soon thereafter. The work will begin in June of this year.

The state notes that the 3GW of solar power currently installed ended up using 7,900 acres of land, 50% of which was forest land that was cleared to install facilities. Massachusetts’ land area is approximately 6.7 million acres, meaning the current solar capacity has used 0.11% of the state’s area to generate almost 7.7% of the state’s electricity demand."

A request for proposals has been released to develop a plan guiding the deployment of 10-20GW of solar power by 2050 as the state seeks to fully decarbonize itself.

Tariffs were a really good idea a few years back when they were first implemented.

Unfortunately since then, we aren't sure if they are actually helping or hurting.

With the tariffs being put in place shortly before the pandemic shutting the world down...we aren't sure where to apply the negative impact on the solar industry.

Lots and lots of jobs were lost in the solar industry, and prices have surely gone up.

Unfortunately we are now on the "other side" of solar pricing.

Solar costs have fallen dramatically over the last 10 years, and now...combined with expiring incentives...the cost of solar is officially on the rise again.

So, if you skipped out on solar when it made the most sense...you should REALLY take the time to look at the numbers now, before inflation and expiring incentives make solar more expensive than it is today.

Electrical costs are only going up, faster now than ever...make sure you protect yourself while you still can.

President Joe Biden today issued his decision to extend the safeguard tariffs on imported crystalline silicon solar panels for another four years. All
