Our team was proud to be kicking off the construction of Lodestar Energy's newest solar project in Concord, New Hampshire two months ago.
The Brochu Solar Farm will power the equivalent of over 1,000 homes, provide over $1 million in tax benefits to the City of Concord, reduce energy costs for the State of New Hampshire, Exeter School District, and McAuliffe-Shephard Discover Center, and improve the reliability and resiliency of the local grid.
This project also creates quality US jobs. We are using over 11,000 solar panels manufactured by Silfab in South Carolina and US-made steel for racking and module support. Coral Reef is constructing the project and providing high-paying electrical and mechanical jobs. Our local friends at GZA Engineering worked on key designs to make sure this project minimizes impacts on the land.
Brochu Solar takes unusable land and turns it into benefits the across the community - taxes, revenue for land owners, savings for off-takers, improvements to our electric grid, and high-quality US jobs. Excited to get this one in the ground!
