Did you know hot mix asphalt arrives to the job site between 275 and 300 degrees Fahrenheit? For the initial rolling the temperature needs to be 220 and 290 degrees Fahrenheit!

Here you’ll see our guys pouring slurry on our pulverized reclaimed road base, grading out the mixed in slurry getting the road ready for asphalt, and digging out asphalt to make our tie in for our new road. After they did all that loaded up and moved on to the next job!

One of the last concrete slurry treated roads for the year! Photo was taken from our pulverizer where we’re recycling the old asphalt and mixing in a concrete slurry as a road base stabilizer and using it to build the new road.

It’s all in the form😎

Forms for a new roundabout in American Fork! After asphalt was removed and grade crews were finished, Forman Chris Jensen and his crew were able to move in and start setting string line to slip the perimeter curb as well as the center portion to the roundabout. Now they’ve moved on to hand forming the islands moving us that much closer to start the concrete paving portion of this project!

We are looking for the following positions:
Laborer - Experience in grading, and work associated with road and site construction (experience not required).
Finisher - Must have experience with flat work, footings, curb and gutter.
CDL Truck Driver - Must have class A driver’s license.
Heavy Equipment Operator - Must have experience in roadway excavation and grading, underground utilities and concrete removal. There are benefits associated with this position.
