Purdue ECE Prof. Zubin Jacob has been named a 2026 Guggenheim Fellow!

The highly competitive fellowship recognizes exceptional achievement and promise. Jacob is one of only three engineering faculty members in this year’s class, and his research is helping push the boundaries of thermal imaging, machine vision and space telescopy.

The “Boilermaker Ultra Special” has become a rolling Purdue landmark, complete with a smokestack, Boilermaker-inspired details and enough personality to make people stop and ask, “Wait, you’re the guy with the train?” 🚂
