Five years of research, collaboration and preparing the next generation of semiconductor innovators! 🎉

Purdue ECE professors Joerg Appenzeller and Anand Raghunathan lead the Center for Secure Microelectronics Ecosystem (CSME), which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary.

The center has supported 112 students, brought together seven universities and built strong partnerships with industry and government to advance secure microelectronics.

And there's more to come! Industry partner TSMC has renewed its support for another five years.

Chipmaking training is hitting the road.

Purdue ECE’s Mobile Semiconductor Fabrication Lab gives students hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment without requiring access to a traditional multimillion-dollar cleanroom.

The portable lab is designed to help more students learn how chips are made and open new pathways into the semiconductor workforce.
