Pan for a view of Brett Elhilow, Steven Gagnon, Mark Wilson and Sheila Ackerman with me on the pano at our weekly staff meeting. Deanna Hollihan was in the next room and Parker Smith was in Nashville pursuing his other passion for the week. Lunch, a bit of humor and a discussion of all our current and future projects helps keep everyone up to speed and benefit from the nearly 150 years of construction experience between us. Rick Michaud took a couple final aerials of the now occupied home we finished in October on the north end of Palm Beach. The 16kw photovoltaic solar system and the solar hot water system, along with the high efficiency window glass and water-blown foam insulation will mean this large estate home will have a minimal energy consumption profile. Lots of other "green" features make this house a reflection of the owner's desire to be earth friendly with their new family home. One of our favorite clients.

Had our weekly staff meeting at Harbourside Place in Jupiter so we could all get to see the replicas of Columbus' Nina and Pinta. Amazing that these two small vessels (65' & 85'), along with the Santa Maria (120'), manned mostly by 13-19 year olds, discovered the new world 525 years ago.
