We broke ground in Huxley — and we couldn't be more fired up! 🚧

We're proud to officially kick off the Heritage Petroleum project — a brand-new facility designed to support everything Heritage Petroleum does best. Fuel distribution, warehouse logistics, and a modernized office space will all be under one roof, strategically located right off I-35 to better serve their commercial, governmental, and agricultural customers across the region.

This isn't just a building — it's infrastructure that strengthens a business, supports a community, and puts Heritage Petroleum in an even better position to show up for the customers who depend on them.

We're excited to partner as their general contractor with a team that shares our core values, and we can't wait to see what this facility means for Huxley and beyond! Targeted for completion Spring 2027. 🏗️

Please join us in welcoming Adam Trejo to Team Denovo!

A recent graduate of Utah Valley University with a degree in Construction Management, Adam brings five years of construction experience and his OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification to the team. After relocating to Iowa, he has already hit the ground running, supporting multiple projects and collaborating with project managers, design teams, and contractors to help keep projects moving forward.

We're excited to have Adam on board and look forward to the impact he'll make as he continues to grow in the industry. Welcome to the team, Adam! 🎉

⛳ Fairways, friendships, and forecast-defying sunshine. ☀️

We hit Terrace Hills Golf Course for the NAWIC Greater Des Moines Golf Outing and had an absolute blast!

We may not all be ready for the PGA TOUR, but between our two foursomes, we had plenty of talent, laughs, and winning company on the course. Huge thanks to Julie Brandt with Home Team Consulting, Kaylin Willey with KCL Engineering, the Emergent Architecture Healthcare Team, and our own Colleen Burns Ladd, Gina Schmidt David and Curt Gear for a day full of laughs, great conversations, and a few clutch shots. ⛳

The storms stayed in the rough, the company was first-class, and the memories were definitely under par!

Thank you, National Association of Women in Construction, for all of the awareness, continuing education, fun, and support provided to many in the industry and beyond!

Today, we pause, knowing freedom is not free.

We remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, and we honor the sacrifice they made for generations they would never meet.

We also hold their families in our thoughts, recognizing the strength, resilience, and sacrifice they carry each day.

From all of us at Denovo, we are grateful for their courage, their selflessness, and the freedoms they helped preserve.

Safety doesn't happen by chance—it happens because every person on site makes it a priority every day.

We celebrated this milestone at the future Townhall Apartments and Foodhall on 6th project in Downtown Des Moines with a lunch recognizing the dedication of everyone on site. This achievement reflects the commitment, accountability, and attention to detail demonstrated by every trade partner, supervisor, and team member throughout the project.

Thank you to everyone who continues to make safety a shared responsibility and helps ensure every worker goes home safely at the end of the day. Milestones like this are built through teamwork, communication, and a culture that puts safety first.

🌸 Spring is here. The field is ready. Let the games begin!

We are so proud of this brand-new softball field — just in time for spring sports season. From the first day of construction to the moment these athletes take the field, this project has been about one thing: giving student-athletes a place to compete, to grow, and to make memories that last a lifetime!

And now? The field is ready. The concession stand is open. The players are eager to take their positions! Spring sports are officially HERE!
