Meet Lily Allen-Duenas! Before joining Ramco nearly two years ago, Lily built her marketing career in higher education, the nonprofit sector, and as a freelance consultant, working with organizations around the world. She was drawn to Ramco by the opportunity to bring her creativity, strategy, and problem-solving skills to an innovative company.

Lily enjoys that no two days look the same. From supporting sales and recruitment to events, digital strategy, and customer experience, she loves finding new ways to make an impact across every branch and department.

One thing people may not realize? Marketing isn't just promotion, it's problem solving. Much of Lily's work focuses on helping customers find solutions faster while creating tools and resources that make life easier for Ramco's sales and engineering teams.

Meet Rick Hillmer!

Rick has been part of the Ramco team for 26 years, starting his career with an associate degree in Maintenance Electrician Technology and joining our panel shop before transitioning into outside sales.

What Rick enjoys most is the variety. From helping customers solve challenging automation applications to exploring new technologies like FANUC robotics, no two days are ever the same. Over the years, he's built deep technical knowledge while developing lasting customer relationships across the Midwest.

One thing Rick appreciates about Ramco is the freedom to shape his own success. As he puts it, "If I get bored, it's my own fault. I make my own fate."

And if you've heard the story about the crystal ball he gifted Becky... just know there's apparently a voodoo doll involved now, too. 😄 Keeping work fun has always been part of the job.

A huge thank you to the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce for bringing August Rush Hour to Ramco, and to everyone who stopped by to connect, meet our team, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what we do in industrial automation.

We loved opening our doors to the community, sharing some State Fair-inspired treats, and spending the evening with so many familiar and new faces.

And a special shoutout to Blue Ox Spirits for bringing the evening’s unexpected VIP: the “emotional support pickle.” 🥒😂 We’re still not sure how we ever hosted events without one.
