Our Des Moines KCL team stepped away from the office and onto the job site for one of our favorite annual traditions: Habitat for Humanity’s Adopt a Day. 🛠️🏠

Through these collective efforts, GDM Habitat for Humanity Des Moines Habitat for Humanity is working toward an ambitious goal of helping create 50 homes annually and expanding access to safe, affordable housing for local families.

Thank you to everyone who showed up ready to put in the work and represent KCL in our community!

Margaritas and a beer b***o. What more could you ask for?

This week, our Des Moines office transformed into the KCL Cantina, a small way to celebrate and thank the incredible clients, partners, and friends we have the privilege of working alongside every day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a little fiesta fun. We're grateful for your trust, partnership, and the opportunity to work together on projects that make a difference. And yes, Pedro the beer b***o was every bit as popular as you'd expect.🪇🪅

The East High School Auditorium Renovation was recently featured in the IA Architect Winter 2026 issue and honored with a Merit Award for Preservation.

The recognition gave us an opportunity to revisit the project and share this drone fly-through of the beautifully restored auditorium, highlighting how the design team balanced preserving the space’s historic character with thoughtful modern system upgrades.

Congratulations to DLR Group on the recognition. KCL Engineering is grateful for the partnership on this project.

A big thank-you to everyone who came out to celebrate our move to a bigger office in Tempe. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and having the chance to connect in person.

These are the moments we enjoy most - good conversations, great people, and a chance to open our doors to the community that makes what we do so rewarding.

Our new space gives us more room to keep growing, strengthening partnerships, and continuing to support great work across Arizona.
