Project Manager - Entry Level Position:

We are looking for a highly motivated Entry-Level Project Manager who is passionate to join our team. You will be responsible for project performance and profit from day one! Based in Westbrook, Maine, we cover a geographic area from mid-Maine to southern New Hampshire.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), highly recommended but not required. 0-3 years sheet metal, commercial HVAC, mechanical trade management experience or field-related construction duties
Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Aero is looking for an experienced, hard-working person to join our fabrication team assembling sheet metal fittings in our Westbrook shop.

Ideal candidates will be able to:
- thrive in a fast-paced environment by demonstrating an exceptional work ethic, commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the ability to keep up with high production demands.
- work both independently and as part of a team comprised of a variety of personalities.
- demonstrate experience with plasma burn tables, 5' coil lines, spiral duct fab, and gorelock machines.

This position is 40 hours a week: Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. Longer hours and/or weekends may be required during extremely busy periods, but no overnights or second shift.

Shop pup Theo approves of this massive double wall spiral ductwork! The new Portland Foreside Sunlife Building rooftop air handling systems required this special build, and Aero was ready to make it happen with Johnson & Jordan and Consigli Construction Co., Inc.
Shop, field, shipping & receiving came together as a team for this one and it is looking GOOD!

Aero Heating & Ventilating, an employee-owned sheet metal contractor based in Portland, has a great opportunity for a Construction Management Assistant. This role within our growing organization will be responsible for assisting our Project Management team with duties including tracking, scheduling, and document management. It will be your job to assist in keeping the Project Managers organized and on point to allow our projects to move smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have strong technology (particularly MS Office and PDF editing) and communication skills, coupled with attention to detail. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-generational environment is essential, as are exceptional organization and time management skills. Our culture embraces the ability to work independently while still supporting the team, so successful candidates will be motivated self-starters. A degree in Construction Management or Engineering and experience working in construction are a plus, but not required.
