A strong resume should make it easy for a hiring manager to understand what you can do.

For engineering and technical professionals, three small changes can make a big difference:

1. Lead with accomplishments, not just responsibilities.
2. Be specific about the equipment, systems, software, or processes you have worked with.
3. Add context. Scope, project size, production environment, or measurable results help employers understand the impact of your experience.

Your resume does not need to include everything you have ever done. It needs to clearly show why your experience is relevant to the opportunity in front of you.
