MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
This position's responsibilities include, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical and pneumatic systems. Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines. Core equipment includes injection molding machines, automation and assembly work cells, material handling and chiller system.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILIETIES:

7. Plan and carry out work assignments, using blueprints, schematic drawings, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, or liquid or air flow sheets, following prescribed regulations, directives, or other instructions as required
8. Research catalogs or repair part lists to locate sources for repair parts, requisitioning parts and recording their receipt.
9. Keep records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment.
10. Test or calibrate components or equipment, following manufacturers' manuals and troubleshooting techniques, using hand tools, power tools, or measuring devices.
11. Repair, maintain and troubleshoot injection molding machines, automation, auxiliary equipment, grinders, dryers, etc.
12. Dismantle and inspect parts, rebuild and overhaul complete machines troublesome machine components.
13. Service and maintain robotics, hoists, power and miscellaneous material handling equipment.
14. Maintain and repair plant systems to include plumbing, heating and air conditioning, ventilating and exhaust equipment, compressors, etc.
15. Perform electrical repairs to machines and equipment. Diagnose electrical / electronic malfunctions, troubleshoot microprocessors.
16. Perform preventive maintenance activities on all production equipment in a timely manner. Use precision measuring instruments such as scale, calipers, dividers, level, micrometers, etc.
17. This position may be also have responsibility for the duties listed under the Facility Technician.
18. Other duties as assigned needed to help drive our Vision, Mission, and Values.
EXPECTATION
Develop skills to assist Mold, Set-Up, and Process Technicians as needed.
Use trouble shooting knowledge to solve straightforward problems.
NO disciplinary actions in the last nine (9) months.

Education/Certification

This is a highly responsible, independent and supervisory position responsible for all aspects of the quality improvement process. This position has 24 direct reports that support the general operations and new product introduction functions. This position requires strong medical manufacturing, customer relations, organizational, and leadership skills as well as a working knowledge of quality control measures and quality control programs in an ISO 13485 environment.

Responsibilities include:
1. Adheres to Viant Core Values and all safety and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
2. Organizes and leads regulatory and agency inspections, audits, investigations, and inquiries regarding the control and assessment of product design and manufacturing quality.
3. Coach, mentor, develop, direct, train and evaluate the work of the quality improvement personnel.
4. Develops and maintains internal/external relationships with key customers, divisions, and departments in order to strengthen and maintain business operations and growth.

5. Manage customer complaint and reject process to ensure accurate root cause analysis, timely response, and determination and implementation of corrective actions.
6. 10. Monitor site quality metrics and develop counter measures as needed.

7. 13. Provides training in the area of root cause tools, statistics, and quality systems.

Skills/Competencies
Experience leading conversations with customers and auditors.

Practical application experience in continuous improvement methodologies to improve processes, strengthen quality and drive efficiency.
Highly skilled in Quality tools e.g. FMEA, Risk Analysis, Root Cause Analysis.Ability to read and write in English
Experience with environmental monitoring practices and testing (ex. Endotoxin, LAL, etc.) is a plus
Advance proficiency in statistical tools (i.e. Gage R&R, Capability Analysis, Anova, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Experience and demonstrated advance proficiency in Process Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, TMV)
Proficiency in Risk Management (ISO 14975)
Detail oriented with strong organization skills
Ability to work cross functionally and as part of a project team
Self-Motivated and strong ability to adapt to change
Requirements:
Minimum Education: BS in Engineering or applicable technical fields. Master’s degree is a plus
Minimum Experience: 3+ years of leading successful teams or 3+ years of supervisory experience similar fields.
Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of Injection molding process. Proficiency in application of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standard. Six Sigma Black Belt Preferred. Internal Auditor Certified preferred.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
This position is responsible for identifying and reporting opportunities for improvement; and executing, once approved, recommendations. Manage and provide leadership for EHS and lean improvement efforts. Assisting with all Environmental Health and Safety activities for the site. The incumbent will manage and perform activities necessary to maintain the facilities and grounds to support a safe and clean working environment that meet all Viant, FDA, and ISO regulations. Additionally, the incumbent will identify and report opportunities for improvement; and once approved, coordinate and manage ex*****on of recommendations.
This position is responsible for identifying and reporting opportunities for improvement; and executing, once approved, recommendations. Manage and provide leadership for EHS and lean improvement efforts.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide effective instructions to successfully develop a safety program. Implement and monitor health and safety activities.
Develop written reports and standard operating procedures for all EHS.
Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations governing agencies by implementing related programs at the site level and oversee training, record keeping and reporting requirements.
Responsible for OSHA logs, safety audits and safety committee and workers compensation cases.
Responsible for all Safety Reporting Metrics.
Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, development of corrective and preventative actions, and evaluation of their effectiveness.
Interact with employees at all levels to foster a proactive safety culture based on prevention.
Facilitate OSHA required training.
Keep informed of and be able to interpret laws and standards dealing with employee risk reduction in the industry and injury/illness recordkeeping requirements.
Act as the eyes, ears and “conscience” of top management where employee safety and health are concerned.
Keep top management advised of all significant safety and health developments, including the status and results of hazard evaluations, inspections, and accident investigations, and any serious problems or deficiencies in the overall safety and health program.
Conduct a hazard analysis that includes hazard detection and plans from prevention or control whenever new equipment, facilities or material are designed, purchases or used and whenever new processes are designed.
Assist in and oversee the investigation of employee reports of hazards. Respond to employee safety and health suggestion.
Assist in developing and providing safety and health training to all employees so that they will understand the hazards of the workplace and their responsibilities to protect them.
Follow all GMPs and SOPs as defined by Viant’s policies, practices and procedures to insure that FDA, ISO regulations, and Viant quality standards are met.
Manage new hire orientation and training.
Ensure that all employees are trained to and following all EHS policies and procedures, including GMPs and SOPs as defined by Viant’ s policies, practices, and procedures to so FDA and ISO regulations, and Viant quality standards are met.
Responsible for maintaining a preventive maintenance program and ensuring that all daily, weekly, monthly, etc. scheduled work is completed accurately and in a timely manner within the confines of an annual budget. This includes all EHS activities for Federal, State and Local agencies.
Maintains plan for fire evacuation and disaster response.
Responsible for hazardous waste disposal program.
Supports all departments in the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the facility and related equipment.
Must be able to travel to assist with EHS activities as required.
Performs other assignments as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge/Education:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Technical or Vocational degree preferred
Job Experience:
3+ years of EHS and related experience reporting to Federal, State and Local authorities.
ASP, CSP, CEM or related experience preferred or equivalent.
Experience in medical devise or other related industry preferred
Knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO13485 and ISO14971 Risk Assessment preferred
Must have in-depth working knowledge of UBC, UFC, NEC and ADA regulations / codes.
Skills/Competencies:
