Our commercial department, Construction Solutions, attended the ISHE Indiana Society of Healthcare Engineering Conference last week in French Lick.

A big thank you to SERVPRO for partnering with us and helping make it a fantastic week!

The highlight of the week was bringing people together for dinner at the beautiful Mansion, located on the iconic Pete Dye Golf Course. It was a great opportunity to spend time with healthcare facility professionals and continue strengthening relationships in the healthcare construction market.

Thank you again to SERVPRO and everyone who joined us. We are grateful for the opportunity to keep building relationships in this industry.

Our crew was back out in the community, this time volunteering with Dress for Success!

Dress for Success helps women work toward economic independence by providing professional attire and career development resources. During our visit, they had received a large donation of scrubs that needed to be sorted and hung so they could be ready for the women they serve.

We were glad to lend a hand and support an organization making a meaningful impact in our community.

As we wrap up Construction Safety Week 2026, we are reminded that safety is more than a weeklong focus. It is a daily commitment to protecting our teams, our trade partners, and everyone on the jobsite.

This year’s theme, Recognize, Respond, and Respect, reinforced the importance of early hazard recognition, taking the right action, and holding ourselves accountable to safe work practices.

One key reminder from this week is the value of tools like the STCKY Wheel. This visual guide helps teams identify high-energy hazards, including lifting, heights, underground work, confined spaces, energized sources, stored energy, hazardous materials, and moving or crushing equipment. When we use tools like this during planning, inspections, and daily conversations, we are better prepared to implement direct controls and keep workers safer.

Safety Week may be ending, but the work continues. Let’s carry these lessons forward and continue making safety a choice every day.

Today’s focus is Respect.

Respect starts with the plan.

On a construction site, respect means following the plan, speaking up when something is off, and stopping to reassess when conditions change. It also means using Stop Work Authority when needed and not pushing past a hazard just to keep moving.

When people respect the process, serious incidents are less likely to happen. That is how we protect each other and keep STCKY hazards from turning into something worse.

Today’s Construction Safety Week focus is fall prevention.

Falls remain one of the most serious hazards in construction, and most fall related incidents can be prevented when the right steps are taken before the work starts.

Fall protection only works when it is planned, used correctly, and checked in the field. There is no room for shortcuts when someone is working at height.

Take the time to look at the task. Make sure the protection fits the work. Speak up if something does not look right.

Preventing falls starts before anyone leaves the ground.

Today's Focus: RESPOND

Recognizing a hazard only matters if we do something with it.

Responding means taking action before the work puts someone at risk. Once a high energy hazard is identified, the plan should control the exposure before the task starts.

That may mean changing the work method or adding a direct control. If field conditions no longer match the plan, stop and reassess.

Do not wait for an incident to prove the hazard was there.

Construction Safety Week is here! Today’s focus is: Recognize.

We’re talking about the high-energy hazards that can lead to serious injuries and fatalities. Falls, electrocutions, struck-by incidents, trench collapses, confined spaces, toxic exposure, explosions, and caught-in or between hazards are all part of the STCKY list for a reason.

They are the stuff that can kill you.

Take a minute to look around. Talk through the task. Call out the hazards. Speak up when something does not look right.

Recognizing hazards early and communicating clearly is one of the most important ways we keep people safe on the jobsite.

LET’S GO! What a moment for the Thieneman family and for Chicago!

Congratulations to Dillon Thieneman on being selected in the FIRST ROUND by the Chicago Bears. From growing up in Indiana, to starring at Purdue and Oregon, to becoming a First-Team All-American and now a 1st round pick… this is what hard work, toughness, and consistency look like.

As Reese Davis said last night… Dillon is now one of the “Monsters of the Midway.” And Nick Saban called him a “tone changer.” That’s exactly who he is: a playmaker, a leader, and someone who changes the game every time he steps on the field.

For a family that has been lifelong Bears fans, this is as special as it gets. Full circle moment doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Chicago got a great one. We couldn’t be more proud! 🐻⬇️
