The only labor you should be doing this weekend is none.
Your boiler, though, has been sitting untouched since April. The first cold night in New England is roughly six weeks out, and boilers don't quit in July; they quit on the first cold morning, the same morning everyone else's does.
When we service one, we're not just firing it up. We check combustion, system pressure, boiler water, and the water quality feeding the whole house, because the failure is usually upstream of the part that broke.
Scheduled in September, it's an $80 dispatch, waived when you hire us for the work. Off-hours, holiday, and Sunday dispatch carries a $599 emergency callout fee โ non-refundable, non-negotiable, collected prior to dispatch, covers the dispatch only and is never applied to repair work. Same boiler either way.
