JDI performs lighting upgrades for industrial facilities. Unlike T12's and other fluorescents, LED packages save money and provide the necessary brightness to increase visibility and safety.

This project you see below involved a full replacement of a client's older LEDs. The lights had become darkened due to time and environment.

Our electricians installed all new LED lighting, and made the facility look much better and perform more safely because of the increased brightness.

JDI has begun a project in Anderson County for a renewable fuel conversion site!

This project involves process piping, electrical, rigging, industrial construction, steel fabrication, and grading. We have installed the main electrical feeds and have power ready to go.

The industrial construction side has begun placing 30 foundations for pipe stands and machinery pads. Our piping and mechanical team have started prefabrication with stainless and carbon, and are maintaining schedule.

We appreciate New Terrain Grading assisting on this project with trenching and grading; thank you all!

A word from our Safety Director, Tony Wi******er: "Falls continue to be the most cited violation in the industry and have been for the last 15 years. Stop and think before every move you make on a step, crane, lift, or anything that makes you feel unbalanced."

As we enter the National Safety Stand-Down To Prevent Falls in Construction, falls have not only been the number one most cited violation in OSHA's top ten for the past fifteen years, but it is also responsible for over 350 fatalities, which were all preventable. Identifying a means for fall protection should be captured in the daily job hazard analysis (JHA).

Furthermore, we must take additional measures such as annual harness inspections to ensure we are not using faulty equipment.

Fall protection systems consists of:

Passive (prevention)
-guardrails
-safety nets
-floor covers

Active (fall arrest and restraint)
-personal fall arrest system
-fall restraint system
-positioning system
