Today, we close a chapter that has been part of Huntington Steel for 31 years.

Our Westover branch is closing its doors today, and we want to say thank you to everyone who has been part of its story. To our customers and friends throughout the Morgantown community, thank you for your business, your relationships, and your support over the years.

And especially, thank you to our Westover team. We’re grateful for the work, dedication, and years you’ve given to Huntington Steel.

While this chapter comes to a close, Huntington Steel will continue serving our customers from our Huntington and Pikeville locations.

Thank you, Westover, for 31 years. ❤️

"Your name is everything. Once you lose it, you've lost it."

That's the advice Tim Delong's dad gave him years ago, and it's still the way he leads today.

Recently, two members of our Pikeville team walked into Tim's office with a concern. The bed on one of the company trucks had developed holes. Nothing had happened, but they knew it could become a safety issue for someone driving behind them.

Nobody told them they had to say something. They did it because it was the right thing to do.

That story says a lot about Tim, but it also says a lot about the people he works beside every day.

We sat down with Tim to talk about leadership, family, teamwork, and what keeps him coming back after more than 22 years in the steel industry.
