Our installation team this week was hard at work creating beautiful results while slashing utility costs!

Both homes were in need of updated solutions for both heat and hot water production. We used the Velocity Boiler Works Phantom II boiler, which will produce consistent and even heat while reducing gas consumption by upwards of 30%. These boilers have the ability to adjust their output constantly, the result is a 95% efficiency rating. On top of the fuel savings, we’re able to reclaim space in our clients homes, who doesn’t love that?

Both clients took advantage of local utility rebate and incentive programs to make these installs tremendously more affordable. Both installations qualified for $660 in instant rebates, 0% interest free financing for 84 month and a $600 tax credit.

Happy Friday!

This time our install of the week is a high efficiency hybrid gas furnace and heat pump system.

The existing system was a 1997, high efficient unit that was at the end of its service life. Keep in mind that the service life of heating and cooling systems are 15 to 20 years. At about 26 years of service, this system delivered excellent value for this owner.

The new replacement system is a sealed combustion Bosch 96% (2) stage furnace (inside photo) coupled to a Bosch multi-stage heat pump (heating and cooling) condenser (outside photo). This system achieves its cost saving benefits by using the condenser in the heat pump mode down to about 40 degrees Fahrenheit before it switches to gas fired heating in colder temperatures. This in turn provides fuel saving rather than having to use the gas fired furnace all of the time for heating. Hybrid installations like this one can reduce operating costs upwards of 30% annually, while providing enhanced comfort.

These installations qualify for rebates, interest free financing and federal tax credits. This customer purchased this system with zero money down and pays less than $200 a month.

Installation of the week.

This week we have a high efficiency double Furnace and Heat Pump replacement.

The existing systems were aging and riddled with problems.

The two new replacement systems are sealed combustion Lennox 99% efficient (2) stage furnaces matched with Lennox Heat Pumps condenser. This system achieves its cost saving benefits by using the condenser in the heat pump mode down to about 40 degrees Fahrenheit before it switches to gas fired heating in colder temperatures. This provides fuel saving rather than having to use the gas fired furnace all of the time for heating on moderate temperature days.

For indoor air quality, we air using a high-performance annual media air cleaner.
