Welcome to Coastal Country, located along the Forgotten Coast in Northwest Florida. The Forgotten Coast is home to sugar-sand beaches and beautiful woodlands. The ponds, wetlands, and winding rivers found in the region have created a perfect environment for cypress trees to flourish for thousands of years, These trees are the basis for deadhead or “sinker” cypress. All of our deadhead cypress pr

oducts are made from the lumber of recovered logs recently unearthed after being buried for hundreds of years. The recovery, milling and finishing of this lumber is all completed by family members who live within miles of the forests where these trees once grew, and the place our family has called home for generations. Coastal Country is a family owned woodworking business, and we pride ourselves on creating one-of-a-kind pieces to enhance your home, office, retail location, wedding venue or wherever you may need a bit of rustic charm.
