We just finished a large column base restoration in Wheeling, WV. What a project!!

We enjoyed this large column base project! Thirty-one column bases were restored and/or replaced with GFRC replicas. The rest had 100+ years of paint removed and repaired.

We often get emergency phone calls when plaster rains down from above - this case found us traveling to Arkansas to work in a historic hotel’s atrium! A beautiful stained glass skylight was trimmed out in a fun decorative plaster border in the late 1800s. What was a (relatively) small plaster repair quickly turned into a much larger job when the owners decided to take the opportunity to rewire the lights in the plaster border while we were doing the repairs. The original cast plaster pieces had to be removed and replaced anew once the electricians were done!

We were very pleased to be trusted with plaster restoration at the Cockayne Farmstead in Glen Dale. What a satisfying transformation! They are planning to reproduce the historic wallpaper covering in the room eventually. This finish ensures that the walls and ceiling remain crack free for generations to come!
