It’s been a rocky start with the transition to the new R454b refrigerant as the industry deals with a severe shortage of the new refrigerant. However, there are a few 410a units still available for folks seeking them out. Let me know if you’d like a quote.

New air conditioners are now manufactured with A2L refrigerant, which is mildly flammable but the trade-off is lower global warming potential and lower toxicity.
