After 30 years of building Power & Control here in Southern Oregon, I’ve decided to step back slightly from the day-to-day role as President and transition into the position of Founder & Executive Chairman.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting industries throughout the region and beyond with drives, controls, automation, troubleshooting, programming, and technical support. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built and deeply grateful for the customers, vendors, friends, and employees who helped make it possible.
I especially want to recognize some of the people who encouraged me early on to start Power & Control, Inc. Without their support and mentorship, I would not have had the success we’ve enjoyed over the last three decades. There are many more than I can name, but a few standout mentors include Michael Tibbits, William Doty, Marilyn Abbott, Don Barry, Ron Eversole (RIP), Bob Wagner, Mike Ross, Dan Webb, George Mosier, Michael Gatt, Dick Enloe (RIP), Jesse Warren, Jenne Ballard and all of the Enloe brothers. To all of others who played a role along the way — thank you!
As part of our long-term goals, Kyle will continue taking on an even larger leadership role as President of Power & Control, Inc. moving forward.
It is also important for people to know that Kyle is one of the most highly trained electrical sales engineers in America, if not the world. He holds a Drive Specialist certification, Network Communication certification and a AC drives repair/service certification, all are extremely rare in our industry. I honestly do not know of another company in the United States with this level of technical capability and experience under one roof.
Again, thank you all for 30 incredible years of trust and support.
I also want everyone to know that I am NOT going anywhere. I’ll still be actively involved in the company — supporting customers, helping with technical solutions, mentoring, and continuing the relationships we’ve built over the last 30 years.
This transition is simply about strengthening the future of Power & Control, Inc. for the next generation while continuing — and enhancing — the level of service, knowledge, and support our customers have always counted on.
