Shamrock Building Services LLC has an immediate opening for a Chief Building Engineer. The position will be located at a Condominium in NW, Washington, DC. There is NO In Unit Work, everything is in the Common Areas/Commercial Spaces unless there is an emergency. This is a (3) Man Maintenance Crew with a strong Property Manager that does all of the financials. Really great group of guys to work with!!

The candidate should be proactive and have a spirit of ownership about the tasks they are responsible for. They should have excellent communication skills, be friendly, helpful, honest and RELIABLE.

The strengths for this position would be understanding the basic function and operations of HVAC systems, Plumbing and Electrical to be able to properly assess an issue and diagnose what the resolution should be. Must be able to perform Preventive Maintenance on all types of equipment including Boilers, Chillers and Cooling Towers. Must be a self-starter and able to complete small drywall repairs & painting. Oversee and hire sub contractors as needed.

Preferred Candidates will have the following: 10+ years relevant experience in building maintenance and operations and various handyman tasks.
