We’re looking to add members to our property maintenance team!

Looking for steady, year‑round work with a team that values effort, reliability, and craftsmanship? Thompson Site Services is looking to grow our property maintenance crew.

You’ll help with mowing, trimming, cleanup, seasonal work, and general labor at our commercial properties. During the winter months, this role includes snow plowing, snow removal support, and assisting our maple sugaring operations.

We’re looking for someone with reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Benefits include competitive pay, paid vacation, and a $500.00 sign on bonus after 60 days.

Have you ever wondered how effective salt really is for winter road treatment? Salt lowers water’s freezing point. When applied, a salt brine is formed and prevents the bonding between snow and ice to the pavement. Around 30°F, one pound of salt can melt 46 pounds of ice, yet at 15 degrees it only melts 6 pounds. Because salt is more effective between 15–30°F, once pavement temperatures dip below about 15°F our crews switch to other materials to best treat roads and keep roads as safe as possible.

Thompson Site Services is looking for a hardworking, reliable Operator/Laborer to join our crew in White River Junction, VT. This is a hands-on role with year-round variety and the chance to grow with a team that takes pride in doing things right.

🌨 Winter Work Includes:
• Snow removal and ice treatment (on-call hours based on storms)
• Long shifts and flexible scheduling required during weather events
🛠 Year-Round Responsibilities:
• Supporting our property maintenance, excavation, and maple sugaring crews
• Operating equipment and assisting with general labor tasks

🚧 Project Update from Thompson Site Services 🚧

Crew 2 has officially kicked off their new project in Bethel

Work completed already:
✅ Constructed two new trailer pads
✅ Located all the old septic tanks scheduled for replacement
✅ Repaired a couple of water lines that needed immediate attention

Looking ahead, our team will be:
🔹 Replacing all the septic tanks
🔹 Building a new leach field
🔹 Installing a new sewer main

Phase Two:
🔹 Installing new water lines throughout the property.

Progress Update at Royalton Terrace 🚧

This week Crew 1 has been hard at work completing the all-new septic system at Royalton Terrace. Yesterday marked a major milestone as the final manhole catch basin was set in place. By today, everything will be fully tied into the new leach field, ensuring a modern and reliable system for years to come.

Next up: installation of the brand-new water supply system. This phase will include construction of a new pump house and installation of all new water lines, further strengthening the infrastructure at Royalton Terrace.

We’re proud of the dedication and craftsmanship our crew brings to every project, and excited to see this one moving into its next stage.
