Yesterday was bittersweet. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Meadow River Trail Project took place, and we celebrated without our friend and MRT co-foreman, Jarren Anderson.

With the completion of Phase 3, the trail now stretches 18.5 miles from Rainelle to Nallen. What a journey it has been.

Job well done, gentlemen: Wes Hollandsworth, Daniel Estep, Austin Feury, Kelly Delp, Russell Morgan, RJ Miller, Jay Simms, and many others who helped make this project a reality.

We will move on, but this river and trail will forever be a part of our family.

Special thanks to Matt Ford and the Greenbrier and Fayette County Commissioners for their support.

Jarren was a man that didn’t meet a stranger. He was always nothing but a pleasure to talk to, work with, and be around. He was a dedicated Lynch Construction employee since he graduated high school 28 years ago and was the best at everything he worked on. He took honor in every job he did and was proud to make it look as good as it can look. The company will not be the same with out him and he can never be replaced. You could depend on him for anything and was always willing to give a helping hand. We love and miss you brother.
