🎉WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT🎉
Our founder Jack Jonas dedicated his life’s work to serving and advocating for an underrepresented population. Creating an organization based around the principle that everyone, regardless of their physical abilities, has the right to an education, a career, and independence. In honor of Jack’s legacy and spirit, the Jack Jonas Spirit Award was established to recognize employees who have shown dedication to the mission and truly have a heart for those we serve.
The CIC 2025 Jack Jonas Spirit Award winner is… Leo Galvan. Leo received an incredible eight nominations from his coworkers. That alone speaks volumes. But what stood out even more was the language used in those nominations. The word “help” appeared a staggering ten times. That tells us something important: Leo isn’t just present at work—he is present for people.
One colleague described Leo as someone who constantly goes above and beyond for anyone. Another wrote that Leo does anything that is asked of him—even if it isn’t technically his job. Time and again, he has been described as kind, selfless, and an all-around good guy here at work and helping his coworkers outside of work too.
Recently, Leo has taken on die repairs in the Fabrication Shop and has been assisting with press set-ups. He not only helps troubleshoot problems but also shares his knowledge openly, teaching others along the way. This willingness to mentor and collaborate has paved the road for greater efficiencies within the department and is leading to major cost savings for the company.
Leo reminds us that the true measure of success isn’t just in tasks completed or goals achieved, but in the impact, we have on those around us. He shows us that leadership is not about titles—it’s about service, generosity, and being the person others can count on. And through it all, Leo remains incredibly humble.
Thank you and Congratulations, Leo!
