It is easy to lose track of how much fuel is moving when the setup is simple.

Gravity tank. Transfer pump. Hose. Nozzle.
But without a meter, you are still estimating.

The GPI 01A Digital Fuel Meter measures 3–30 GPM, making it a practical add-on for fuel transfer setups that need a digital readout without overcomplicating the system.

Field equipment does not get handled like it is sitting in a showroom.

That idea showed up early in GPI history.

In 1982, GPI introduced its first turbine meter: the EDM. The prototype included a $5,000 computer component, so engineer Bob Hall carried it in carefully.

Then Lyle Koontz, one of GPI’s original partners, took one look and dropped it on the ground.

His point was simple:
“If it isn’t durable, we don’t want it.”

That durability-first mindset helped the EDM become one of GPI’s early meter success stories and led to two more versions soon after.

We’re so proud to be part of something truly special at Wichita State University

Through the GoBabyGo program, engineering and physical therapy students team up each semester to build custom ride-on cars for kids—designed specifically for their individual needs. From unique physical adaptations to even selecting materials children aren’t allergic to, every detail matters.

We sponsor a car each semester (along with our sister company, ASC), and it’s been incredible to watch these builds become more advanced and impactful every year.

This year marked the 10th anniversary of the WSU chapter, and we’re honored to help continue their amazing work—bringing mobility, independence, and joy to kids and their families. 🚗✨

Small kit. Big spill protection. ⛽

One setup does not fit every install.

The GPI M30 Mechanical Fuel Flow Meter is built to mount in multiple directions, and the register rotates so the display is easier to read wherever the application takes it. That kind of flexibility can make installation and day-to-day use a lot easier in the field.

Have a tight install or unusual orientation? The M30 is built to adapt.

We had such a great time at the 2026 Engineering Expo with the Society of Women Engineers Wichita Section - SWE!

Kids visiting our booth got to build their own pinwheel on a mini assembly line—and our team was right there to help every step of the way. From engineers to our production crew, it was a full team effort to make learning fun and memorable.
