When I first got my shop in 2020 I could not believe how big it was. I didn’t know how I would fill up 10,000 ft.². Now I can’t fit a 10 foot 2 x 4 in here. It’s crazy how far I’ve come in 6 years. I’ve built out several office spaces on the right side and a large showroom on the left side that is beautiful. Waking up while people are sleeping and working while people are sleeping, is what got me here. I’ve literally had to sell stuff to make room in here.

I wanna thank LP Smartside for a killer lunch and some amazing stuff and great conversation with Sam. Yall know I love LP till the day I die and push their products hard because I believe in them. I don’t get paid from them. I could but I don’t need that to serve my community with an inferior product. For you that don’t know I have a LP tattoo on my right arm. That time I truly love this company. They’ve been really good to me over the years. They’re in lunch. He was asking if there’s anything that they could do for us and asking me for feedback of their product and that’s what it’s all about. They don’t buy me. They just show me love for showing them love. It’s good to be recognized by them. I wish I could go to the Builders show to see all of you guys in Orlando this year, but I won’t be able to make it. I appreciate all the people that has invited me and offered to cover all costs that means a lot. Contractors keep doing your thing, overtime people will notice.

If you guys need any projects done, we have a small window after the first week of January through the second week of March if you have any projects that you need done. You will get a discounted price so we don’t have to move our schedule around. It’s very rare that we have openings like this.

I am a working contractor and I watched over our roofs like a hawk. I typically have our office manager do a pre-inspection and then I do a final inspection. Nobody’s perfect so I make sure I go back and hit anything that they might have missed to prevent Anything down the line. I don’t know many contractors that get up on the roof and do two inspections, but it’s just something that I incorporated into our business for the best results. I don’t claim to be better than anyone else, but I try to do our bestand give people what they pay for.

Another trick of the trade. The crank board. I like my walls to be level and straight, but sometimes it doesn’t always work out like that so being straight as much more important versus being level. Obviously, if it’s severely out of level, then you gotta do what you have to do to make it work but running a string line down it to where it is absolutely on the money is what I’m shooting for.

Just wanted to introduce myself to any new followers. This was my backup page when we got hacked. Yes I fell for an email and lost a massive following. But that’s not what this is about. This is my roots and where it all started. I started off framing houses every single day for many many years before I started my company. i’m not one of those contractors that can sit in the office every day or driving around in a truck doing nothing. I have to be going 100 mph constantly. Which can be bad and good. I enjoy being hands-on and working. It’s the most stress-free thing in the world to me. The business side of business is not fun at all. I enjoy meeting customers and selling jobs but more than anything. I love to get my hands dirty. Like I said this is where it all started was framing. And I believe if you started off framing or at least did framing for a majority of your time you have a big advantage over other contractors in your industry. when I walk into a home, I can see straight through the sheet rock or the brick on the outside. Or the shingles on a roof. I can literally see what’s behind all that due to framing for a long period of time. If you are going to get in the trades, I would highly advise you to start off framing. I have a lot of good days and a lot of bad days and to be honest and more good days than bad days. A couple things I’ve learned along the way after many years in business. You will never make every person happy. Family is more important than Work. It took me a long time to understand those two things, but those two things are very important to know internally. I wake up really early every day and get out of bed and give it all I got. I love what I do. This is not just a job to me. It’s much more than that. I want to make a change in my city. I want people to look at construction differently than what they typically think of. Thank you for following on my journey.

Here’s an awesome New deck build we just finished and made it much larger and added a larger covered porch. We repainted the home and added all new 6 inch guttering and did a crazy garage transformation with epoxy floors, cabinets, slat walls, shelving (Tons) and paint. It was a job that kept growing and growing and growing. The homeowners were amazing how patient they were and wanted and was willing to wait for quality. Very sweet people and they are enjoying the deck.

Just wanted to brag on this guy for a little bit. I’ve never made a post about him. Meet Glen our office manager, a.k.a. tech guru. Glen is one of the most humble people that you will ever meet and one of the most hard-working people you’ll ever meet. Ever since he joined our company he’s been nothing but incredible and uplifting. He’s really good at talking to employees, customers, and anybody for that matter. We are very lucky to have him be part of our crew. He mainly does drawings for us and runs the insurance side of business along with many other tasks. He’s a man of many hats. But he does the one thing that I’m not good at and that’s computers. I’ve learned overtime to hire people to do things that you are not good at and this is the perfect example of that.

Glen is happily married and has several young girls meaning his children. He’s yet to have a boy. He’s very involved in our church and actually is part of our worship team along with his wife. He has a huge family and a huge heart.

when he started working with us, I didn’t know if I was going to be able to keep him busy doing just certain things but long story short he can’t even kind of keep up and I’m going to need two of him before long. I’ve never seen anybody catch onto something so fast. Anything I throw his way any program or whatever it might be he catches onto it super quick. He’s just an incredible human being overall and a very dedicated father, husband and a hard worker.

We are very fortunate to have nothing but awesome employees and this is just one of them that I would consider the glue that holds us together.

The one thing our customer said to us that means the most is they trust us. Repeat customers are the best. You build a relationship of trust and good work with them and they will call you for life/

Another roof under contract. This house has some major issues and this is when hiring the right company comes in. There has been several attempts to fix this nightmare and I came up with a solution in a few minutes that will stop all leaking. This is a massive roof but whoever built this kentuckery should be fired. It’s hard to explain but when I build it i will make some videos. I love problem solving stuff like this.
