• Creating all paperwork required for customer shipments (Packing Slips, Bill of Lading, Bar codes, etc.)
• Pull, Pack, and Ship part orders for delivery
• Delivery of part orders to customers and pick up orders from vendors
• Receives customer and vendor PO or non PO orders into MRP system
• Accepts deliveries of company products and stores them accordingly
• Inspects all orders being received and shipped, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items.
• Report to warehouse supervisor or manager of any issues with receiving or shipping
• Complete hardness and conductivity testing on materials
• Part mark parts
• Issue material to jobs
• Operates forklift or other heavy machinery required for transporting large orders and heavy products
• Unload trucks of material, parts, and products
• Ensure materials, products are stocked in correct location
• Keeps warehouse area clean and organized

• Operates a variety of power/hand tools and standard deburr equipment to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, rough and sharp edge.
• Select files or abrasives, according to materials, sizes and sharps of work pieces.
• Visually check parts for compliance to quality and workmanship standards.
• Requires close visual attention while work is in progress to prevent damage to parts or equipment.
• Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling
• Responsible only for own work.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment, hand tools and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs according to set up documents, and mount them to machine prior to beginning cutting
• Discuss project specifications with engineers and supervisors to guarantee consistency between plans and products, and collaborate to modify designs when existing ones are not feasible
• Oversee cutting process, make adjustments throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen and take necessary measures to eliminate errors and notify lead of any changes made
• Supervise machine temperatures, ensure that machine has adequate warm-up and cool-down time between jobs and replace coolant periodically
• Review and interpret cutting plans, enter them into control outlets before jobs and alter them to correct mistakes when necessary
• Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning and tool replacement
