Our Story
In 1987 Guthridge/Nighswonger Corporation was born. We’ve been building projects and the business ever since. The early ’90s brought about a new addition with the G & N Custom Cabinet Shop. This division fit right in because we had begun doing a higher percentage of high-end kitchens and bathrooms. We're a family owned business and we take pride in our work. Honesty, integrity and quality are what we're all about. And you'll feel that in every job that we do.
In 1997, we became the distributor of Phantom Screens and Executive Screens for most of the state of Kansas. This division has been a nice addition to the company because Phantom and Executive Screens have very innovative, cutting edge products.
FROM THE FOUNDATION UP:
Our history is pretty simple and really stable. Dick Guthridge has been in the remodeling and concrete business for over 40 years. First with his brother and then out on his own. In 1986 he met up with Larry Nighswonger and Guthridge/Nighswonger Corp. was born. Rich Nighswonger started at about the same time and Justin Guthridge started full time in 2007. In 2014, Larry Nighswonger retired, then at end of 2017, Rich Nighswonger also retired. Justin and Dick Guthridge then partnered up and they haven't looked back since.
