Are you using your ceiling fan correctly?
During summer, most ceiling fans should rotate counterclockwise to create a downward breeze that helps you feel cooler. During winter, reverse the fan to clockwise and run it on low to help circulate warm air that has collected near the ceiling.
One more tip: turn the fan off when nobody is in the room. Ceiling fans cool people—not empty spaces.
