As an organization, we have been very proud to support both the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and campaigns over the years.

Last evening, over 1,000 guests attended this year’s Market at the Food Bank, in support of making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Congratulations to Kristin Warzocha (Greater Cleveland Food Bank President & CEO), Janet Smith (Market at the Food Bank Event Chair), the Greater Cleveland Food Bank employees and volunteers, and all of the vendors on a job well done!

In the 1990’s, as a football player at Mercyhurst University, we competed against Coach Tom Herman’s teams on four occasions.

It was always a “Fierce” and “Hard Fought” rivalry game on both sides.

After 52 years of coaching in the college football ranks, the last 26 years at Mercyhurst University Football, it was a privilege to attend Coach Herman’s retirement ceremony over the weekend.

Tom was an outstanding coach, but more importantly, an even better person.

It was a thrill to share the Rocket Arena stage and present these awards alongside two legendary Cleveland Cavaliers – Austin Carr and Campy Russell.

A long-time valued team member and his wife started a tradition a few years back the night before Thanksgiving.

As the plumbers and HVAC technicians come in at the end of the their shift, they are greeted with a feast straight from the Dominican Republic.

The only thing that is as good as the food is the camaraderie enjoyed by all those in attendance!
