Jones Plastic Proudly Supports KY FAME to Build the Future of Manufacturing
At Jones Plastic & Engineering, we believe in investing in the future—both of our industry and our community. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (KY FAME), a statewide initiative that blends classroom learning with hands-on experience to prepare the next generation of skilled manufacturing professionals.
Through KY FAME, students attend classes two days a week and work on the job three days a week, earning an Advanced Manufacturing Technician certificate while gaining real-world experience. Jones Plastic is honored to be part of this transformative program, helping to shape a pipeline of talent ready to meet the demands of modern manufacturing.
Our commitment doesn’t stop there. From donating welding equipment and injection molding machines to local technical schools, to offering co-op opportunities for high school students, we’re dedicated to supporting education and workforce development in our region.
As Williamsburg Plant Manager Tom Anspach shared, “Our employees work hard and are very dedicated to making quality parts for our customers. We want to let them know how much they are appreciated—and that includes investing in the future workforce.”
Together with KY FAME, we’re building a stronger, smarter, and more sustainable manufacturing community.
The Cumberland Chapter recently welcomed back Cohort #10 to kick off the new school year. Jones Plastic - Williamsburg is proud to have our very own Alex Martinez be a part of the group.
