Poor workmanship is never an option here at New Air!

Here we found several broken and improperly connected drain fittings hidden with duct tape! 🌊Water had begun to leak damaging the backup pan and structure beneath the unit.

Two tedious and careful hours later they are all dried up and good as new! 🙂

This week we found a great example of the importance of annual Air Conditioning and Heating maintenance!

This old rusty coil had a refrigerant leak.
> The coil froze over restricting airflow.
> The restriction created a vacuum that ripped down the cabinet insulation.

Thankfully this is the stage where the damage was caught and properly addressed. If it had been ignored the list could easily continue:

> Insulation sucked into blower, burning up the motor and throwing wheel out of balance. ($500-$1200 repair)
> Compressor seized from running dry. ($1700-$2300) repair.
