Why Foam? This house is a great example. The before foam pictures are from a house that had a pipe burst during the freeze in Houston. The fiberglass that was in the walls was 3 1/2 inches of batt insulation rated at R13. The trouble with fiberglass is that not a single one of these stud bays is 16 inches, or unobstructed. In addition to this the pipe that burst was up against the OSB with the fiberglass shoved over the top. Leaving it exposed to the outside elements and freezing. Causing $40,872.00 worth of damage. You can also see the holes that were in the wall where the wires are. Foam is sprayed into these wall cavity's and expands to surround the pipes and wires. Giving a much tighter seal and a true insulation value to the area.

We're still working. Not only are we classified as essential, we work in extreme PPE anyway. Also no one is supposed to be in our work space while we are spraying. Foaming the personnel country house of major home builder out in Brenham.
