This was a pretty interesting build. It will be shipped to Washington state to be used on some form of municipal water system. It is designed to push water when the electrical grid is in low demand. When the grid is in high demand, water will free flow backwards, spinning the pump/motor making the electric motor a generator. This VFD is designed for regen. It will put power back on to the electrical grid. Can’t wait to see it in action!

Last week we got a call on a VFD that was controlling a 250HP motor. It had started intermittently ground faulting. Quite a bit of brain storming was required to plan out this 380lb VFD retrofit. Our plan went better than we had hoped. We were happy to get the customers pump fully back online.

We finally got this 800HP Low Harmonic VFD finished and out the door today! This is our biggest VFD build yet. It was a relief to finally be done. Only to find it was as equally difficult to load and transport. Talk about nerve racking. I’m glad I wasn’t there to see it craned off and set into place. On to the next one 👍🏻.
