A little more live action lol

Well it was a short week for some but for our crews it was a pretty packed 6-7 days. Maintenance in the yard Saturday, power pole built on Sunday, loading equipment Monday and Stockton crossing work on Tuesday.
We are installing a railroad crossing in the Port of Stockton for the Home Depot distribution center. This distribution center is currently the largest one being built in the country.
Concrete stacked foundations and cantilever gate combos and of course a power pole lol. Our crew is smaller in numbers, but the production is not! Thank you to everyone and have a great weekend.

We are putting the finishing touches on one of our generator projects for Sonoma Water, this has been a multi faceted project from removing the in ground fuel tank to the installation of the new above ground fuel tank. From conduits, all underground and final paving was done by our crews and they killed it! We worked with a new fencing sub Kenwood fence and there work speaks for itself. We have also done a little in house 304 stainless steel manufacturing for the generator control boxes. Thank you everyone for your efforts!!

Good morning everyone! We have recently been out working with our favorite movable bridge Blackpoint bridge. After 114 years of service it needs a little care and some of the wear is extensive. We brought the worn items into our shop straightened them and then added new turnbuckles for more precise adjustment. As more work progresses we will post.

Fun at the ball fields in Willits today! One of our favorite times of the year: adding some new sand and bringing back existing sand to what it needs to be. Our crew is out getting after it again! Just in time for this weekend’s opening ceremonies!

After some long weekends of making repairs and just sheer grit to make something work, we paved with our little paver! We were a little short on labor but our crew rocked it…..well black oily rocks lol. We have an amazing group of people working with us, and our subs always deliver. Thanks McFarland Trucking, Eric Montenero Scout Smith and AJ Smith.

Santa Cruz yesterday Guerneville today for some cable pulling. We got to break out the ITools cable puller to help get the 500kcm installed. We even made sure to get the best side of Eric.

Fun in the California sun-ish, until the next storm comes lol. We are re configuring the crossing at Pacific and Beach in Santa Cruz. We installed this crossing in about 2012-13ish and it was the first railroad crossing in California combined with a roundabout in it. More photos to come as the project continues.

The snow has arrived, which means our construction jobs are generally shut down and Danny is working in the shop today on some fabrication for a generator panel. So “Green Truck” is enjoying a rest and looking good in the snow today!
