EXPERIENCED CNC MACHINIST WANTED:
JMD manufactures a wide variety of parts and products for over 80+ customers so this is not a strictly button pushing production position as everyday can look different. We are looking for someone who can solve problems, maintain accuracy and help improve machining quality and efficiency.
Full-Time CNC Machinist & Programmer
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Wage Range is $26 - $34+ Dependent on Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
Minimal Required Overtime
Responsibilities Include:
Set up, operate, edit, and program CNC equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Perform machining operations from work instructions and verbal direction
Inspect parts to ensure they meet print specifications and quality standards
Select tooling, fixtures, and machining processes
Determine cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts, and tooling requirements
Monitor tool life and make machine adjustments as needed
Create and maintain job process documentation
Design and document fixtures and tooling
Follow proper coolant testing and mixing procedures
Train and support operators on job procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum of a two-year degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent experience
Two or more years of CNC machining and programming experience
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation:
Pay is based on the experience, skills, and knowledge each candidate brings to the position. The range starts at $26/Hour to $34+ dependent on this knowledge, experience and qualifications.
